Jacqui & Anita from Upstyle have combined their background’s in interior styling and design to create a unique, cost effective home interior styling service.

They will help you re style and re arrange your existing furniture; and advise on new furnishings and accessories if required.

We make it a fun, relaxed process; keeping in mind our clients’ budget.

About Us

We are based in Christchurch and have a combined wealth of experience and skills to ensure your property will stand out amongst the competition.

Jacqui Berry

With a diploma in interior decorating from the Christchurch Polytechnic, Jacqui combines a trained eye for design and flair for helping people to prepare their houses so they look their best for the property market.

Her career has centered on creativity in many forms including interior decorating, visual merchandising and wedding styling.
Jacqui has also contributed to interior magazines such as Your Home & Garden both as a writer and stylist. She takes a relaxed, down to earth approach to her work but is detail focused.

Jacqui has two grown up children and lives in the seaside village of Sumner in a renovated 1950’s brick and tile bungalow with her husband Phil and their dog Coco.

Anita Bell

Anita is a qualified Interior Decorator and Designer and has worked in the interior and building industries for over 15 years.

Her strong sense of design and eye for detail combines tradition with trends as well as function and practicality.

Anita lives with her husband and three children in Cashmere and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Styling your home for a fresh look

We offer a unique affordable interior restyling service. We will come into your home and help you restyle and rearrange your interior. 

We will use your existing furniture, or point you in the right direction for new furniture. 

We offer a unique styling service preparing your home for the property market.

Jacqui and Anita also work with clients who want to ‘spruce up’ their home for the property market, but don’t want the hassle and expense of home staging. We call this soft staging; it is similar to traditional staging but without bringing in large pieces of furniture.

Anita and Jacqui can help you save time and money. We work on restyling your existing furniture and bring in soft furnishings and accessories as required, to enhance and update your home for selling.

The property can then be presented at it’s most stylish – we ensure your property stands out amongst the competition!

Styling your new home

We also work with clients who have purchased a new home, but don’t know where to begin to decorate.
Sometimes you just need confirmation that you are heading in the right direction.

Our Pricing

Restyling your Home for the Property Market

For a standard 3 bedroom home: $540

Fee breakdown

  • Initial visit/consultation $160
  • 2 hours styling @ $90 per hour
  • 5 week hire fee for our soft furnishings @ $40pw = $200

Refreshing your Home Styling Package

Starting from $75 per hour, please contact us to discuss. 

Walk Through Service

We also offer a walk through service. Fee $250.

We meet with the homeowner at their property and provide recommendations on how they could re style and de clutter their home in preparation for the property market.
